Terms and Conditions
By using this website you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
Using the site
You may use the site and its tools for personal, non-commercial purposes. Do not misuse it. That includes scraping the tools at scale, trying to disrupt the service, probing it for weaknesses or using it for anything unlawful.
Educational use only
Everything on this site is general information about feeding aquarium fish. Calculator results are estimates built from typical feeding guidelines. They are not measured requirements for your individual fish.
Not veterinary advice
We are not veterinarians. This site does not diagnose, treat or prevent any condition. If your fish are bloated, refuse food for several days, lose weight or show unusual behavior, contact an aquatic veterinarian or a qualified fish health professional. Do not delay care because of something you read here.
Why estimates can be off
Real needs change with species and strain, age, health, breeding condition, tank mates, water quality, algae or biofilm grazing and the true digestibility of your food. Use results as a starting point. Then adjust by watching body shape, appetite and leftover food.
Food and product information
Nutrition values are typical figures for each food category. They are not product-specific claims. Always follow the label and the manufacturer's instructions for the food you buy.
No warranty
The site and tools come "as is" and "as available". We do not promise that they will be error-free, always available or fit for a particular purpose.
Intellectual property
The text, design, tool logic and illustrations on this site belong to its publisher unless noted. You may quote short passages with a link back to the source page. Please do not republish full pages or copy the calculators without permission.
Linking to us
You are welcome to link to any page. Do not suggest that we endorse your product or service.
Third-party links and services
We may link to outside sites. We do not control them and we are not responsible for their content or practices. The site uses Google Analytics, which has its own terms. Currently we have no affiliate relationships. If that changes, we will disclose it where the link appears.
Limitation of liability
You use this site and its tools at your own risk. To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the site. That includes harm to animals and loss of fish from reliance on the content or calculators. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms and will change the date above when we do. Continued use means you accept the updated terms. Questions can go through the contact page. See also our privacy policy and cookie policy.
